Manila was named the fifth riskiest city for tourists

Manila was named the fifth riskiest city for tourists among 60 international cities, according to a new Forbes Advisor report.

“Manila has the highest natural disaster risk, the fifth highest personal security risk, and the seventh highest health security risk,” the report stated.

Caracas, Venezuela has been cited as the riskiest city for tourists, while Singapore is the safest.

My comment

Manila have it's problems the biggest one is the taxi scammers and other types of scams they have going on there to exploit the tourists.
Specially the tourists that are there on a first time visit and it is probably there last visit to the Philippines.

Tourists usually choose other countries in the region before Philippines, first of all for it's easier to travel to these countryens since most of them have direct flights something Philippines don't have.
So most of the people that visit Philippines today are there either for they live there or have a partner that live there.

When it comes to the general security risk so is that not worse then in any other big city and if you use common sense.
Don't be loud, and don't walk around drunk, and not draw to much attention to your self and don't make to much problems so will you be safe.

And always read the travel advice before you travel to any country for things can happen
